Super Simple Skin Advice To Beat Blemishes & Wrinkles

WEAR SUNSCREEN ALWAYS

Even in the winter the sun’s UVA and UVB rays can cause damage to your skin resulting in melanomas and aging

REMOVE MAKE UP BEFORE BED

We’ve all done it. Had a long day and just hopped into bed without washing off our face of makeup. While it won’t hurt once in a while, it is best to get into the habit of washing it all off properly to let your skin breathe. Leaving any makeup on overnight can let it skin further into your skin clogging pores resulting in breakouts and dull looking skin.

CLEAN MAKE UP BRUSHES

You can not imagine the amount of bacteria, oil and dead skin that can accumulate on your makeup brushes and sponges. Yet we are all guilty of not washing them as regular as we should. Despite them looking dirty, we tend to ignore it and not realise how dangerous it can be. Especially considering they go around your eyes which are very sensitive. Dirty brushes and sponges can lead to clogged pores, and breakouts.

MASSAGE YOUR SKIN

Don’t rush your daily skin routine. Take time to massage in your face creams and oils. This will help stimulate your blood circulation and boosts collagen. Don’t go too hard, the skin on your face is very thin so can damage easily. Just use firm strokes and light tapping (around the eyes)

GET ENOUGH SLEEP

There is literally NO POINT in buying all these skin lotions and potions when you don’t get enough sleep. Your body and skin needs time to rest and repair. Sleep helps increase blood flow and skin can rebuild collagen which in turn helps repair UV damage and helps prevent wrinkles.

STAY HYDRATED

Water is key to healthy skin. The first signs of dehydration will show in your skin, so drinking plenty of water will stop your from getting that dull, flaky skin.

CHECK DATES

While it might seem like no big deal, (since the product doesn’t look out of date) cosmetics that are out of date can have bacteria which can cause infection. Be especially careful with eye liners, eye creams and mascaras as you want to avoid infection and damage to your eyes.
