People Whose Genetics Made Them Fascinatingly Different
The human body is a marvellous thing. All it takes is one small change in our DNA and all sorts of different outcomes can occur. While some of these genetic mutations can be devastating others are amazing!
Check out these people below who were all born with unique hereditary characteristics.
1.This woman has “Bowie Eyes” nicknamed after the singer David Bowie who had this unique eye feature. The condition is actually called “Anisocoria”. People who are born with this condition have one pupil that fluctuates correctly, and another one that remains fixed.
2. This man has inherited a thumb from each parent. Mother on the left, and Father on the right which is significantly shorter due to a genetic condition called Brachydactyly type D.
3.This baby was born with the same patch of white hair as her Mother. This DNA mutation is called Poliosis and results in the absence of melanin on any hairy part of the body.
4.This person has one solid crease through the palm off his hand. This is called a single transverse palmar crease, or STPC, most people tend to have two lines running in opposite directions and with slight curves.
5.This man only has freckles on one side of his face with a pretty clear line differentiating the two sides. There isnt a name for this but it’s very specific type of birth mark which started at the point of being an embryo.
6.This guy was born without a bridge in his nose. There can be many different conditions why this has occured. Positives are you can’t ‘break’ his nose, and it’s very rare to have nose bleeds.
