Finally figured out.

I finally figured out what I want to be when I get older… …younger!

When I was younger I was always baffled by this question. You are always asked it growing up, especially in high school when you are a teen. I wondered what they wanted the answer to be? How was I meant to know. The pressure of picking a profession on the spot without experience was bizarre.

Surely no one knew what they wanted to be? I was just so excited to just be an adult and do all the ‘cool’ adult things. Little did I know what I had to ‘look forward’ to. I am sure they never said about all the taxes and bills. Obviously I knew you had bills to pay. But honestly our whole adult lives just seem to be there to pay a new bill every month! And as fast as you make the money the quicker it flies out your pocket for a different bill. Adulthood is basically just one big bill.

So now I have finally figured out what my answer will be, and what my answer should have been all along. There is no way I would have wished to be older if I had of known what was to come. I would have enjoyed the freedom and lack of responsibility a lot more!
