Drunk Gets Pulled Over …Wait Till The End

Late one quiet night, a drunk driver was pulled over after swerving along an otherwise empty road. Streetlights hummed overhead as the patrol car followed behind him before flashing its red-and-blue lights across the dark street. The driver carefully eased his car to the curb, letting out a long breath as the officer approached. Even through the open window, the smell of alcohol was unmistakable.

When the officer asked how much he’d had to drink, the man gave a crooked smile.

“Just a couple,” he said, as though the answer itself might save him.

He climbed out of the car with exaggerated concentration, swaying slightly while insisting he was perfectly fine. He joked about being tired, blamed the uneven road for his driving, and spoke with the confidence of someone convinced he sounded far more convincing than he actually did. The officer listened patiently, quietly taking note of the man’s glassy eyes and delayed reactions.

The first sobriety test was simple: walk a straight line.

The driver failed almost immediately, stumbling off course before pointing accusingly at the pavement.

“This road’s crooked,” he protested.

Next came the one-leg stand. The man lifted his foot dramatically, wobbling within seconds before lowering it again with a frustrated sigh.

“I could do this somewhere else,” he insisted. “You need better conditions.”

His excuses grew more creative with every failed attempt, but the officer remained calm, repeating instructions and carefully observing everything.

Finally, the officer folded his arms and said, “Alright. One last test. If you can pass this, I’ll let you go.”

The driver straightened proudly. “Deal.”

The officer smirked slightly. “Use the words green, pink, and yellow in one sentence.”

The drunk man paused for a moment, concentrating hard. Then his face lit up.

“My phone went green green, so I pinked it up and said yellow. Have a nice day, officer!”
