Sometimes I wish I could go back into my past. Not to change anything, but to re-live some of my most precious moments twice.
There is no point living with regrets and wishing you could go back in time to change things. Mistakes happen, and they help you grow and learn as a person. But one thing that would be really beautiful is the ability to go back and recapture all those precious moments. Because even though you may be fully emerged in that moment, you can still miss not appreciating the moment more.
A perfect example if weddings or births. They are such glorious days it is truly impossible to take in the full enormity of the day. There are little moments you wish you could saviour for longer. Hold on to those moments for a while longer, but even the happiest of days end.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to feel that rush of happiness all over again, because that is something that really can’t be topped or re-created.
