Soak Your Feet In Vinegar Once A Week And Witness The Amazing Benefits

Although we all know the many beneficial uses for white vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar is also extremely useful. It has a wide range of benefits including everything from relieving the symptoms of cold to getting rid of hiccups.

However the main reason for which it is brilliant, is its amazing potential to solve a variety of foot problems!

Organic, unpasteurized, unfiltered (Apple Cider Vinegar) ACV possesses “mother” strands of beneficial bacteria, proteins and enzymes, which give the vinegar a murky appearance. It also possesses some antioxidants, amino acids, and acetic acid, which has antimicrobial properties.

Our feet are prone to problems due to the constant lack of oxygenation and dehydration. This leads to germs and bacteria building up on your feet and may lead to dry feet, roughness, calluses and warts.

On the flip side, sweaty feet can also be the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and fungi which contribute to various infections, like athlete’s foot, or foot odor.

Because vinegar has these antimicrobial properties, soaking your feet in a vinegar bath for 10 to 20 minutes may help to kill the bacteria or fungi contributing towards foot odor and/or infections.

Therefore it is good to introduce a foot soak as a relaxing way to end the day, and with regular use you’ll be amazed by the results.

Make a vinegar foot soak by using the following recipe:
  1. Fill a bowl with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
  2. Add 2 cups of warm water (Make sure the water is not too hot)
  3. Continue to add 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water until the bowl is sufficiently  full
  4. Stir and soak your feet for 10 to 20 minutes
  5. You may like to add some essential oil or aromatic herbs to enhance the smell.
  6. Use a pumice stone to exfoliate your feet. (It’ll soften your skin and eliminate all of the calluses from your feet)
  7. Finally, pat your skin dry with a towel.

(Make sure to clean your feet with a regular, soft soap before and after soaking)

Please note: Medications are still the most effective form of treatment for things such as athlete’s foot/warts.
It is possible for vinegar to irritate already inflamed skin.
Vinegar is also not appropriate for treating wounds on the foot.
Always consult your doctor before trying home remedies.
