Moms Hilarious Parody of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” Calls For An End Of The Mommy Wars
One mom has taken aim at the Mommy Wars in the best possible way— through the undeniable appeal of a Taylor Swift parody.
As Today reports, Deva Dalporto is a mom blogger who has had it with the way that mothers use different parenting styles to judge and put down each other’s choices.
So she decided to make a fun, lighthearted statement using Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood,” rewritten as “Bad Mom” to make the point that moms have more in common than they realize.
“We’re so hard on each other,” Dalporto told Today. “We’re so judgemental. I’ve been guilty of judging other parents. I think we all have. And it’s doesn’t help anyone.”
“We’re all just trying to do the best we can and ultimately, in the end, all we want is to love our children and give them the best possible life. That’s really the message of my entire blog. Be kind. Do your best. Don’t judge. Especially don’t judge yourself.”
Dalporto’s crew of moms wear yoga pants and fight with vacuums and spatulas, with attachment parents taking on formula users, stay-at-home moms versus working moms, and more. It’s obvious they had a lot of fun making the video, which Dalporto says was one her favorites to produce.
“Shockingly no injuries were sustained during the fight scene,” she said. “Although I have to admit I was so sore the next day I could barely walk. I’m too old for this stuff!”
It looks like there’s no bad blood between these moms.
