It’s ok to not be ok. Some days are just harder than others.

The world is a very strange and scary place at the moment. Things are happening that have never happened in our life time before. We are living and learning and of course making mistakes because we have not got anything to refer to. So while the pressure is mounting from all directions. Whether its work, or school, children or family or friends. I just want to make it clear. It’s ok to not be ok.

We are all going to have days that are harder than others. We have all been affected differently but everyone’s lives have been changed. It doesn’t matter if someone else seems to be sailing through this situation, baking, doing yoga or blitzing the house while you can barely get out of bed. It’s ok. As long as you get up each morning and make it through each day then you’re doing great. Don’t add more pressure to yourself. Take it slow. Have a chilled day and not get dressed. Or maybe try waking up and showering and doing some small jobs to keep your mind occupied. We all cope different. Find what works best for you.

Just remember this isn’t for forever. Better days are coming. You can get through this, just take one day at a time. You may not feel as bad in the morning. It takes a while to adjust but as humans we are good at adjusting, so relax and take it easy. Just reach out if you need to a problem shared is a problem halved. Many people are struggling at the moment, don’t feel alone. Someone will be able to relate and help you through this.
